Today we learned about assessment in mathematics. I learned about how children are assessed and that its primary purpose is to improve learning. I solved a problem, 2cmx2cm cube ,painted red, how many 1cm faces of the cube are covered? I would have children do this problem in the primary grades. It is problem-based, no instruction,no example, work through, and ask why do you think that problem?I had fun and would use this problem in my classroom.

Photostory

The program was easy to use and allowed for a different way to teach students. Using technology that would engage them more at home, and keep them motivated throughout the learning experience.

Thank you girls for the posts, I guess I am falling behind a bit with the posts. Well I am going to get on the go now. lol. Good Luck with the rest of the course: photostory etc..Later on!! I am sure taht will be fun!
